Who are some of your favorite painters?
––
"That is a difficult question to answer since there is so much
good work to be appreciated. Generally speaking I favor
the early Italian Baroque, especially Correggio and
the
Bolognese school. More recently
I have been inspired by the nineteenth century Italian
painters.
My
models for still life painting are Willem Kalf and Danes Carlsen. Roger
vander Wyden is another of my favorites, as is Pietro Annigoni."
