Jered Woznicki
I've always thought of Jered as one of the best drawing instructors around these days. Another American Academy graduate—and former student of Michael John Angel, Jered's analytic approach to artmaking and unique ability to steer a student firmly towards an ideal make him a strong teacher.
Before studying with Jered, I had talent; after studying with Jered, I had skill. Jered was never one to let me off easy, but always tried to push me the farthest I could go so I could learn the most from everything I did. I admire Jered for consistently demanding excellence at all times, in addition to being a brilliant painter.
